Shipping, Return and Refund Policy (August 2014)
This policy sets forth the shipping, return and refund terms applicable to the sale of products at Martfly.com. By completing a purchase with us you agree to the provisions of this Shipping, Return and Refund Policy.
Where We Deliver:
We, or our order fulfillment service providers, ship to addresses within and without the United States as listed on the product and/or product category information page or at the time of check-out. We require a street address for delivery– we cannot deliver to a P.O. box.
How and When We Deliver:
In-stock products usually ship within three to five business days and should arrive within five to twelve business days, depending on delivery location. Delivery dates are estimates and subject to change. We will endeavor to keep you informed on the progress of your order.
We make every effort to have items available but from time to time, products are on back order. If that happens, we will notify you, usually within two business days of your order, and you may either wait for the item to arrive, substitute another item, or cancel your order and receive a refund.
In the event that any item(s) of your order are unavailable, we will notify you via email, usually within 24-48 hours and you may substitute another item or cancel your order and receive a refund.
Orders consisting of numerous items may have multiple shipping dates and may be shipped from multiple locations.
Any products you purchase from us are bought FOB shipping location. This means that the risk of loss or damage to the goods in transit transfers to you when the goods leave the point of shipment on their way to you.
We are not responsible for any late delivery or failure to deliver due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control or that of our order fulfillment service providers.
Cost of delivery:
Shipping charges are calculated on a per order basis and according to the weight and size of your order and your delivery address.
To obtain specific rates, once you place the items in your shopping cart follow the checkout instructions.
Purchased items are normally delivered using ground shipping since it is generally the least costly method of shipping and the greenest option.
Some bulky items may have additional shipping costs. Any additional costs will be included as a handling cost and noted on the product and/or product category detail page for that item or at the time of check-out.
Acceptance of delivery:
At the time of delivery you may be asked to sign and acknowledge that the goods were delivered. Anyone at the delivery address who receives the products is presumed to be authorized by you to receive them.
Please inspect your shipment thoroughly upon delivery. Do not dispose of the shipping box or any original packing material until you are satisfied that the items received are in good order.
You must notify us within twenty-four (24) hours of receipt of an item, if it is broken, damaged or defective, or has missing parts.
If you refuse an order or send the order back as return to sender, you will be charged both the original shipping fee as well as the cost of return shipping plus a 10% restocking fee.
During warm weather months (typically April to October) the chocolates contained in Gift Baskets may be substituted with candy or cookies of either equal or greater value to avoid damage due to melting.
If your gift recipient is not available at the time of delivery, we cannot be responsible for damage that occurs to those gifts having their delivery delayed or items delivered and left unattended in warm weather.
You should notify the recipient on all orders and make sure the recipient is home to receive their package to prevent damage or theft while sitting outside. Carrier will leave the package to the destination address without a signature.
If you are shipping to a hospital please be aware that often gifts are shipped to the receiving department and then need to be taken by hospital staff to the patient. We are not responsible for gifts becoming lost or misplaced once it is delivered to the hospital, failure of the hospital staff to deliver the gift to the patient's room or arriving after a patient has been released.
Customers are responsible for all shipping costs associated with returned merchandise.
Products marked “free shipping” will be delivered at our cost using standard ground shipping or USPS delivery. The entire order must be shipped to a single address and cannot be combined with any other promotional offer.
Free shipping offers are not valid for prior purchases of the same item.
Martfly reserves the right to change or discontinue free shipping offers at any time.
To find out whether you are entitled to Free Shipping, simply add a product to your shopping cart and, if eligible, free ground shipping will automatically be applied to that portion of your order. Other items in your cart that are not eligible will still incur a shipping charge. Free shipping offers are only valid while product supplies last.
Cancellations, Returns and Refunds:
To cancel an order please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at 201.731.2881. Please note that we cannot accept order cancellations once order has begun processing.
We take pride in selecting the best products to offer to our customers and we want you to be happy with the products you purchase from us. If for any reason you are not satisfied with the items received, you may return your purchase by following these easy steps:
Before returning any items please email us at email@example.com or call us at 201.731.2881 to obtain a Merchandise Return Authorization number (“MRA”). When obtaining your MRA number you must provide us with your name, your order and invoice number, a list of the items being returned, the reason for the return, and a daytime phone number. No returns of any type will be accepted without an MRA number.
If you return a product that was purchased with free shipping, the original outbound shipping costs will be deducted from your return refund.
To receive a refund/exchange from Martfly, items must be unopened or in their original condition and packaging; and they must be returned within thirty (30) days of the purchase date with return shipping and insurance prepaid. Following exceptions and restocking fees apply:

Gift Baskets: Requests for returns are rare and so handled on an individual basis. You must notify us within twenty-four (24) hours of receipt of an item if there is anything wrong with the item. Your purchase will be inspected upon return and you will be issued the appropriate credit or replacement for the entire basket or the components returned.
Please note that at times items and/or packaging may be substituted based on availability and heat. No refunds, discounts or replacements will be offered due to substitutions.
Electronics: Items must be unopened to qualify for return or exchange. To avoid costly returns, check the System Requirements for each title. Be sure you have at least all of the system requirements before ordering. If there are any questions, please contact us before you order.
Pet Supplies: 15% Restocking Fee with following exceptions.
Returns and refunds may take up to 4 weeks to process. A credit will be issued to the payment method used for the purchase usually within fifteen (15) days from when the item has been received by us. Refunds generally appear on your payment method statement in one to two billing periods. Martfly is not responsible for any fees or charges imposed by your payment method provider in connection with processing refunds to your payment account.
Certain items are non-returnable or may be subject to a different shipping, return and refund policy and that is noted in the product and/or product category page or at the time of checkout.
Martfly reserves the right to assess the condition and age of returned items and refuse to accept and process products returned with obvious alterations, misuse or visible wear and tear.
Special Promotions and Group Deals:
Group Deal items are shipped when the minimum orders required to activate the Group Deal have been processed and confirmed. We will notify customers via email that the Group Deal has been activated. Delivery times depend on the delivery location.
We may update or modify this Shipping, Return and Refund Policy at any time and without prior notice. For this reason, you should review this policy each time you purchase products from us.
